Keeping steamers informed one forum at a time.

No member is to ever take "official" action without a discussion with other members and a final go ahead by AceOfSpades or an officer. "Official" means creating CE's response thread "CE: Read Before You Buy", pricing the title and keeping that thread alive for as long as that game is sold on steam. What you do without mentioning CE is your business. But flamers/trolls will be kicked from the group as we are not here to flame nor troll.

When a title is released and a member has noticed that it does not deliver that warrants action taken by CE, that member is to initiate a conversation with other members through our official chat. They also need to post an announcement here explaining the case for CE to take action. We are looking for a plural consensus that the game is doing the consumer wrong, not a majority vote or anything like that as we want to take action as soon as possible to save other steamers money. Once a consensus has been reached, inform AceOfSpades or an officer if there has not been one already participating in the conversation. Then Ace or an officer will make the "official" thread on that games forum. Only officers may make an official post, to do otherwise results in instant removal from the group.

Some things we are watching for:
Games that are way overpriced.(This is most subjective so we should be careful here)
Features listed that are missing or broken.
Title does not run on many computers.
Unstable gameplay but sold as a finished game.
We understand that not all titles run perfect and that everything released has some kind of bugs. We will take that in consideration as well as things like the game being constantly patched ect.

Note, we do not consider having your own thread in conjunction with ours as flaming or trolling. It is what/how you say it as well as how often that will make us consider kicking you. We want to be known as reliable in the community not a bunch of out of control hacks.
