Hail good people!

Black Jack with Balatro inspired mechanic does sound an interesting way to improve the basic concept, but ReSoul:Jack just wasn't able to deliver.

Slow paced, poor UI and unnecessarily punishing busts. We are just not able to recommend it, 5/10.

While this is the second game in a row we did not recommend, the next one already looks much more promising.

Hail good people!

We reviewed Cultist Simulator this week, and it didn't quite resonate with us sadly. Despite the popularity and dedicated fandom, Cultist Simulator just didn't feel rewarding to play despite its intriguing concept.

Due to how it works, trial and error is essentially the core gameplay, leaving it to the player to find out how the game works. This can be a very lengthy process which some players might find fun in, but it's not for everyone. And it wasn't for us., even if we liked similar game such as Artist Life Simulator.

There will be no longer review this time, but hopefully the above gives a some small idea about our experience.

Not recommended*, 6/10.

*Don't let it stop you from trying out the unique experience yourself.
