I don’t think people truly respect bushes anymore. Everyone’s obsessed with trees. “Oh look how tall it is.” “Wow, so majestic.” Meanwhile the bush is out here doing honest, ground-level work. Providing cover. Providing mystery. You don’t know what’s in a bush, and that’s the point. Could be leaves. Could be a cat. Could be an entire emotional arc waiting to happen.

Bushes don’t flex. They don’t reach for the sky. They stay humble, dense, and unreadable. You can’t climb a bush and you can’t see through one, and frankly that’s a life philosophy more people should adopt. Trees want attention. Bushes want results.

Every time you walk past a bush, remember: it chose chaos containment over vertical ambition. And that’s respectable.
