Whitelist Group for Brock KZ Server

Hi everyone, our current server provider has stopped providing CSGO servers after October ends. This means Brock KZ will no longer be accessible, sorry for not informing everyone sooner.

Thanks everyone for supporting the server in the past years. I started this server as a personal project back in 2018 to have a private space to play KZ with a couple of friends. I did not expect the server to last long but here we are 5 years later.

Throughout the years, as interest in community servers died down and Valve negligence, many community servers cut down their operation, removing low population game modes such as KZ. I was able to keep the server running thanks to our small size and expanded by allowing contacts of the existing player base join. We've built up a small community of KZ enthusiasts and I'm glad I was able to provide a safe haven for everyone.

I'll admit that the final iteration of Brock KZ was very much flawed due to the lack of attention from me. I simply lost interest in the game and let the community moderate itself while I took care of backend, fixing critical server issues whenever they pop up.

But once again, thanks for your continuous support of the server and a special thanks to the donators, your donation has covered the server funds from October 2022 up till July 2023.

So what's next?

• Currently CS2 doesn't have any modding framework to support server plugins that make KZ possible. Given the rough state of CS2, I doubt we'll have a release from SourceMod team anytime soon. In other words, there's no KZ in CS2 yet.

• I've been looking into other hosting options, including self-hosting but wasn't able to find any location with reasonable pricing. The plan was to continue hosting until Valve shuts down CSGO beta branch for good but we couldn't find a replacement host.
