Hey all. We're trying to start a movement to let Microsoft know that we want developers to be able to self publish on Xbox One. Self publishing allows a developer to submit their game to the platform holder for release without the need of a contract with a traditional publisher. Publishers provide many benefits, but so does the ability to circumvent that process. Steam supports it. PS4 will as well. Microsoft is dragging their heels though, and to the detriment of gamers and creativity in the medium. If you'd like to see independence and creativity have equal footing on Xbox One head over to our facebook and "like" and "share" and let's get Microsoft's attention! (they have that hashtag thing on Facebook now so we actually can I think)
