Due to major issues with the latest patch we have reverted server versions, to play you will need to follow the steps below.


Back up your existing game installation folder
<path to Steam>\SteamApps\common\SpaceEngineers


Disable automatic updates for Space Engineers on Steam
Right click 'Space Engineers' on Steam library, select 'Properties' and go to the 'Updates' tab, under 'Automatic updates' select 'Do not automatically update this game' and press 'close'


Download 01.040.016 client files

Extract the folders from the archive and place into your SpaceEngineers folder
<path to Steam>\SteamApps\common\SpaceEngineers


Launch game normally using Steam
