Battleswarm: Field Of Honor = maybe revived!

The Battleswarm Servers are currently down in order to update to the newest build, version 153. We expect this to take approximately 1 hour, but no longer than 3.

During the downtime, please feel free to grab some popcorn and review the patch notes! You can also find them on the forums in this announcement.

*RESOLVED ‘KNOWN ISSUES’*
- The RTS-side crashing experienced by players using integrated Intel video chipsets has been resolved.
- Tutorial: Multiple minor RTS & FPS steps modified for a more user-friendly experience.
- Mail: ‘Delete all’ player message now lets you know that your mail ‘is removed’ instead of yielding an untranslated message.
- Multiple weapon fire sounds revised for broadcast effect.
- FPS (Human) players can observe a smoother incoming enemy experience, regardless of the RTS (Bug) player’s connection issues.
- Various minor text improvements made.
- The glitch that resulted in a Guild Invite leading to placement in a random guild has been resolved. You can now easily join the guild that you intended to join.
-More minor tweaks

*GENERAL*
- Networking settings has been altered for less frequent ‘Internet Checks’, to ensure smoothly gameplay for all.
- Expiring equipment will no longer disappear from the player’s inventory.
- Some text tips have been added to the Gene/Chips section.

*MAPS*
- New Maps in Circulation:
Killing Zone [16 players. First to 500 points off flag captures and kills wins]
Hostage Battle [8 Players. 10 minutes to escort a hostage to safety]

- Practice Map moving to Active Circulation:
Courage [Previously only available in practice]

*ASSIGNMENTS*
- Rookie Assignments will now carry over into Novice/Expert Lobby once the player has surpassed the rank requirements of the Rookie Lobby. Previously, the rank up into Novice rendered these missions useless.
- Assignments which offer a Citadel-OR-Heavy Machine Gun will now reward BOTH items to allow the user more gameplay options.

- New Active Duty Assignments:
Fireworks | “There’s a lull in combat, so take some time to enjoy a dazzling Fireworks show.”
Communal Dance | “Take some time to remember where you came from.”
