Shutdown Until Further Notice.

Sadly, the best TTT server that ever existed is currently shutdown. A reboot is not out of the question, but there is currently no timeframe in mind.

Current Status of Avocado Incorporated

Hey everybody, I figured I owed y'all an announcement. First off, I know I said the server would reboot this fall, but I will tell you straight up front that that's not happening.
Long story short, after the shutdown of Avocado I found another TTT community that ran very similarly to us and and enjoyed my time there until I moved on to other things. Unexpectedly, that server is still up and running today and I'm currently a staff member on it. As much as I'd enjoy rebooting the server and even looked forward to it, I'm not a fan of the idea of leaving behind a perfectly good community and even having to compete against it. I hate to share this news, especially for all of you that have been so awesome and have waited so patiently, but I hope you can understand.

It's a little different right now for Christmas, but it's a blast to play on and is definitely in need of more active players as of recent. Like I said, I'm a staff member on it. So I'm on pretty often and would be hyped to play with you guys! If you don't like it, then the owner is very open to suggestions. And if you do like it, you could definitely stick around (and possibly even join the staff team if you're into that)!

Termination of Avocado Incorporated

The TTT server will be shut down the 21st of April, 2018. After spending over $150 paying for the server month-by-month and purchasing more advanced addons to improve gameplay, it is sad to say the server will no longer exist.
Thanks to everybody who donated money to help with payments and such, but what we really needed was for players to donate their time instead. Over the past few months we have had an average player count of 3, none of which were staff or active members of Avocado Incorporated.
I started this server planning on getting a good playerbase and then recruiting staff to the point where I wouldn't have to play 24/7, as Garry's Mod is not exactly my favorite game. Once I thought this point was hit, it seemed to disappear the very next day. The server started going days and then weeks without players and about 90% of the staff team either vanished or had major computer malfunctions. I would attempt to revive the server (which could probably be done with a couple weeks of free-time), but I would rather not. The point is I would rather be playing other stuff while running the server on the side, but it looks like the server can't run without it being my main focus and use of gaming time.
I have been a Superadmin, Admin, and Moderator on over a dozen server chains within various games and this was my first attempt at being a full on owner, operator, and developer. Let me know what I could do to improve, what good or bad decisions I made, or just any constructive crititism/suggestions/feedback at all.
Some Plans for the Future: The TTT server may get a reboot this summer, I might make a DarkRP server instead and try that out for a while, or I may start a chain of servers in Team Fortress 2.
Thanks again for playing and donating. The server made it further than I ever thought it would, but not quite as far as I hoped it would. Feel free to leave this group or stay in it if you want. Like I said, there will be future events, and this will be the only place to find out.
