Why haven't I been included?

By expanding the admin list we are taking a risk, that could backfire and kill the server (if people aren't joining what's the point in having it.) So we are gently expanding it one name at a time. The reason we don't want to make everyone admin just yet is because if we do that and get reports someone was abusing their admin it makes it harder to know who is the culprit. The primary reason for giving the admin password to more people is to try to ensure there is someone on the server able to administrate it at all times of the day so one of the reasons you may have been left off is because you play at a time when someone else with admin is playing.

Admin Commands and their use/how to do stuff.

Kicking and banning can be handled through the scoreboard, simply log in, open the scoreboard, press b and select the person you want rid of, and hit kick or ban in the admin options section. Unfortunately the latest patch requires you to confirm it will a console command but this is going to be patched back to normal next patch. The confirm kick/ban command is as follows: confirmban/confirmkick 0 0 "<REASON>" - the two numbers dictate two things that I can't remember but they have to be there. Essentially that is a perma ban.

adminlogin <password> - This is the command to log into admin, <password> is replaced with the password (in case you are thick.) To log in stealthily, simply log in as soon as the map loads - before people have picked classes, that way they don't see the "blah blah has logged in as administrator." comment. The reason for doing this, is to surprise people with bans before they can disconnect and avoid them.

maplist - lists all the maps the server can load.

adminchangemap aocffa-arena3 - use any of the level codes you can see when typing maplist, you can see the gamemode in the prefix aocXXX

adminrestartmap - restarts the current map.

admincancelvote - cancels the current vote

aoc_slomo <value between 0.01-2> - changes the game speed, default is 100% or 1. Slomo is anything between 0.01 and 1 but try to stick with anything above 0.5. Over 1 is faster, this causes the server to lag at higher numbers so if you do dabble with this command, only do fast speeds for a few seconds/minutes at a time. When changing the speed bare in my the wishes of the server and if people get pissed off or begin to leave in massive numbers, change it back to 1 and inform them that it only feels weird at 1 because their brains need to adjust back. ALWAYS CHANGE THE SPEED BACK TO 1 BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE SERVER.

adminchangeteam <playername> - This can serve as a kill command as, if the target person is alive, it will kill them to teamswitch them. This command is useful for evening the teams on team play or trolling a really obnoxious player. Please bear in mind, that you have to type the full name of the individual for it to work and a lot of peoples names will be untypable because of the special characters they use.

Over the past few months me and Sundance have made many friends on this server (as you know) but not all of these friends are in this clan. As a rule of thumb, do not kick anyone from: [DT] or RK. Friends of the server include: Anone in DT or RK, Eternal Prosititute, Helm, w-miller, Master Bard. Mortii, Must4rd Tiger, Speedwagon [JakeX], The Entire Kingdom of Denmark, The Dandy Ape and HKpro. There are a few others whose names I forget, but you will probably recognise them anyway. Don't ban that Prince kid who says ridiculous insults all the time, kinda like him.
