Hello, my name is Ashbad, and I love lotteries. They're fun as hell, as you all probably know. The joy of winning something in a game of chance is probably what makes it fun as hell. And unlike a normal hell, this is a hell that is fun.

If you were invited to this group, you most likely have a friend who thinks you should try your chances at the lottery more often. You should annoy your friends and invite them to this group, too! How does the lottery work?

I'll post a group message about a lottery opportunity, and you post a message in there that you'll buy a ticket. I'll have a list of entrant slots listing empty and filled numbers. In order to be an entrant, you must "buy in" with the ticket cost -- for example, if the ticket cost states a ".11 REFINED" fee, you need to give me a scrap to enter. Once I have received your scrap, you can pick a number -- this will be your lottery number. Once all slots are filled, I will pick a number from http://www.random.org/ -- the winner is traded the prize as soon as he gets online, no strings attached.

How can I trust you to not scam me?

You're going to have to go on a little faith, but I'm a fair businessman as my steamrep standing shows ( http://steamrep.com/search?q=Ashbad )

This is also my main (and only) account, so I really don't want to get it banned or have a steamrep issue.

So a real question to ask is, "can I trust you?"

What type of prizes can I get?

As of right now, I'm doing smaller raffles in order to show people that I AM a trustworthy trader and lottery dealer. Prizes right now will start at things like reclaimed or refined metal with an entrance cost of a single, normal weapon. After a few lotteries go as expect, and people have some trust in me (and I have trust in you), I have all sorts of goodies that I want to use, including rare stranges, festives, craft hats, keys, Team Spirit paint cans, etc. And a few months into the future, I may even start selling lottery tickets for bill's caps and buds.

If I win a prize, what do I have to do?

Get online, and accept you prize! I might ask to get a "Statement of Satisfaction" from you to "sign" to note your satisfaction. And then you have to go off and be happy that you won something.

I lost! I want my items back!

That's the chance you took when entering the lottery. Enter again and you might just win something.

Does this group have a server for members?

Not this group, but I'll be making a sister group for hanging out that will have a dedicated server. It will be open to members that entered in a lottery, and only to these entrants.
