Standing up a server for a Reunion

Hi All,

It's been a long time - roughly 10 years since Aquona came to a formal end. I am in the process of standing up a server for a reunion. If anyone is interested let me know - it should be ready by the next weekend and I will have a follow-up post with IP information.

New MC server sometime?

Hey guys, I have some dedicated hardware running MineOS, a special Linux distro made just for hosting MC servers. Would anyone be interested in playing on a new server? It could be running pure vanilla, some light server mods like Aquona, or maybe even some modpack. It'd be fun to play with you all again!

Hey guys! I used to play as one of the sibling duo under Starminer124. I've been thinking about this group a lot lately, I hope everyone is doing well! No other minecraft server experience has lived up to this one. It's been an awful long time, but I remember this server being a source of community and quiet respite during my chaotic middle school years. I think I remember Robotnik was maybe in college while he was hosting the server? I graduated college myself a couple years ago, a guy there hosted a server for our college community, but mannnn it just wasn't the same. I see talk of a reunion on here, is that still a possibility?

Hey! That's really sweet - It sure has been a long time, 10 years it seems! Those were memories I'll cherish forever. I haven't played minecraft in a while; every few years I'll try the latest update with some old college buddies but it's never been as enjoyable as it once was, with all you guys. Maybe we should do a reunion of sorts someday! Until then, I hope you all are doing well and enjoying life, still gaming or not hahaha

nice to hear! I actually still do some building stuff on minecraft to this day, working on random projects here and there. not sure whats going on with the community, but had a lot of great memories on the server! ~Mell_Gibson

Hey guys,

I'm not quite sure where the time has gone, it only feels like yesterday that the news came in about Aquona ending and having a little stroll down memory lane loading in past saves of the map.

It sounds silly, but I still to this day think about the times we had running around our little blocky world, and the friendships I made too!

When the server was running, and we were all mining away, in the background I was going through a lot of problems at home and you all helped me through that (even though you didn't know you were)

I never took the time to thank any of you for creating a little family away from home.
