Punishing Lameness, Day by Day.

Greetings weary traveler! Welcome and rest your weary mind a while on our steam group. If you are here it is hardly without a reason... you are upset? Yes... you are upset because there exists another, fictional, weary traveler, who has ryu-ined your day with random mashing and scrubby gloating...
You are here because you are fed up. Fed up of the lack of imagination that 90% of a gaming community which you probably like has in picking the same character.

But let us ask you this:

-Are you tired of seeing this same char's f*** face every 9/10 matches you play online?

-Are you tired of Scrubs randomly mashing buttons and having it their way 90% of the time on account of them using the mascot of the game?

-Are you tired of Daigo Umehara sycophants and wannabes having the last word and always being justified?

-Are you PISSED OFF at just how EASY it is to actually win matches with ryu, without ever even having tested him?

We understand. Believe us, we do. We live these same problems every day of our gaming lives...
But do not despair! You have come to the right place! We are here to put an end to this nonsense! Join us in our fight to clean up the SF4 community from the inside!

///Disclaimer: We know our goal is impossible to realistically reach on account of Capcom creating this abomination of a char to entice new players to win without effort. Our true objective is mainly to have a small community of players who DON'T use a ryu so that we may practice other matchups.

-Hate Ryu

While we at the Anti-ryu League have only one requirement (stated above), we however encourage all our members to actively discriminate, humiliate, demoralise, discourage and boycot ANY Ryu player at every opportunity. You can rest assured we shall reward and glorify anyone and everyone who gives proof of having accomplished such actions (very appreciated are: youtube vids, screenshots, and Rage mail). Such treats as being chosen player of the week! ^^

:( On the unhappy side of things... :( Any ryu sympathisers found within this group shall be banned and exiled in a most humiliating manner... we hope this never has to happen but we are keeping it real.

Sadly, there is a slight and single problem with our philosphy... That unfortunately out there are some good and friendly players out there who have strayed to the dark side of Street Fighter by picking this abomination of a char...
Some even play him without negative or trolling intentions, but see the thing about this is.. hmm lets take one step back.. you remember when your mom told you the expression "Its a pity when a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch"? Well in this case it works the direct opposite. There are mostly bad apples, and you have to scavenge like hell to find even the ghost of a good one!

Alas only one thing can be done about this minority of players: that is to consider these fair players as collateral damage of our effort to fight lameness.
