Infinite Power Through Negligible Resistance

The Amperian League is a society devoted to the creation of a perfect Physics World, which will possess an infinitely long and perfectly straight wire for simpler calculations.


We seek to achieve that which all humanity craves: Power. We will do this by the most noble of means: Destroying all resistance in the universe to optimize the amount of current given a potential difference. Those who would oppose us call this evil, or worse; impractical. But when their tongues are purged from this existence they will not speak so loudly!!!

A very Amperian congratulations to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on everyone's fun", our newest member of the week! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on everyone's fun is what the Amperian League is all about. If someone wants to enjoy a nice lightbulb or use an electric heater what do we do? WE. ♥♥♥♥. ON. THEIR. FUN.

Jonny is truly a patriot for his dedication to obliterating all resistance in the known universe, thus completing our final objective and achieving ultimate victory. We wish him luck in finding out how, exactly, optics can be used to destroy resistors. Lasers maybe? Maybe if we get a powerful enough microscope we can prove that resistance doesn't actually exist? I dunno, every idea is a good idea in brainstorming!

A special congratulations to badzar62, who has been Player of the Week for over a year now, he has truly shown the results you can get when doing nothing at all! Proud individuals like him are the cornerstone of our great cause, we should all emulate him by not doing anything at all.

Congratulations to Cyphadrus, our new player of the week! He's shown a perfect example of Amperian League-iness: Playing X3 Reunion. That's right, he's played more "X3: Terran Conflict" than anyone else in the League, way to go him!

Congratulations to btw14, our new player of the week. His 0 Steam Rating shows exactly what the League is all about, MINIMIZING!

Now all we have to do is turn that pesky Ohmic Resistance into nothing and we'll be all set to build a more perfect universe!
