Announcements and Events are free to anyone to set up, so I'll just leave this group to be a passive affair (on my side) for now. If it's appropriate to post this group or the board somewhere else, go ahead. Until then we'll stick with inviting the occasional fine gentleman with nowhere else to go.

For the time being, I don't think we should. It's something we should probably keep quiet about until more people become interested. As in, we don't broadcast the meet up, but if a good sir happens to express interest in going to a con but has nobody to go with, this club link will be passed along to them.

Letting it become widely known is a recipe for disaster.
