An Art Group that post opinions and has opened discussion on ever-evolving ideas in the Steam Art Community.

A central area for those who care about their profile more than the average Steam User, because we'd prefer to leave our screens idling on our profile then idling on our long list on unplayed and non-downloaded games lol.

If you look below, the comments have become somewhat of a "sh-tfest". Plagued with rate for rate comments and artwork links, even though, we have a forum where you can post that at.

All is not lost though, if I myself comment on your profile, it will always be on my own merit and legitimate impression of your profile.

If you were stuck with one program to make all your Artwork:
What would it be?

- Photoshop

- Illustrator

- After Effects

- Blender

- Autodesk

* Includes all Plugins

I'm curious to see what you guys use. Although we as designers what to be diverse in a variety of different illustration techniques and methods, we all have that one program you feel you've completely mastered to the touch. What's yours?

Hey, it's me Anbu.
I haven't done anything with AAP in quite some time. Once I realized that the majority of people only join "Art Profile" Groups to have a "chosen" feeling, I no longer wanted to waste my resources on this group, as my passion for Art goes far beyond just making profile artwork, and that shows in the contest and giveaways we use to have in this group.

However, this ♥♥♥♥ really is out of hand imo, like there's literally like 50+ art groups, and I'd say out of the 50 groups only 5 are actually impactful.

I don't know if you guys get a high from joining and starting art groups but it's really sad tbh. There are a variety of factors that make one want to join a Steam Art Group, the name, the logo, etc etc, all which are quite stupid reason imo. Like, no one looks at the announcements? Does anyone use basic analytical skills? To see if a group is really worth joining???

I mean, these overabundance of Art Groups are the reason people just comment "rated" under artwork. If your art is good, you shouldn't have to push so hard for people to rate, people would rate naturally by visiting your profile and you get more genuine comments.

And if you rating someone's artwork, you could at least put something more this just "rated" right?

I'm really starting to question does anyone these days really value art?
People starting Art Groups just to say the "have a group", just to collect members, I mean come on, it's not a contest.

Well, that's my two cents. Some will take offense, some won't.
Some will agree, some will disagree.
Regardless, my statement was made....
