PlayStation 2 Classics Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing are all getting re-released for PlayStation 4 later this year in North America and Europe, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today.

Like other PS2 games on PS4, you can expect 1080p up-rendering, Trophy support, Share Play, Remote Play, and Activity Feeds.

Discussing the PS4 release of Jak X, Sony’s Bryan Pardilla revealed that it won’t include any online features:

That’s right! Jak X: Combat Racing, Naughty Dog’s wild vehicular combat PS2 classic will be available for the first time anywhere since its release back in October 2005. Originally released for PS2, Jak X will make its way onto PS4 later this year. Play Adventure or Exhibition mode in this no-holds-barred buggy brawler for hours of challenge and fun. Although there will be no online features you can still battle against your friends via splitscreen.

Sony didn’t give prices or Trophy details for any of the games today, so stay tuned for more information as it arrives later this year. The announcement post also didn’t include any mention of Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier getting re-released for PS4.

Sony pointed out that the PS4 debut of Jak X will be the first time anyone has been able to buy the game since its release; right now, it isn’t available digitally in any form. The company did release the Jak and Daxter trilogy on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in the Jak and Daxter Collection, but that package did not include the vehicular combat spinoff.

As with all PS2-on-PS4 titles, these four games are being up-rezzed to 1080p resolution, and Sony is adding PS4 features such as PlayStation Network trophies, Share Play and Remote Play. They will all be available for purchase in the PlayStation Store “later this year,” said Sony. The company did not announce pricing, but most of the PS2 Classics titles cost $9.99 or $14.99.
