"Ad meliora!"

As most of the members in this group know, there is still a divided role-play due to the fact that Julius Caesar (a.k.a. Rommel) and Nilam (a.k.a. the dictator) will not agree to me being put in charge of the new "up-coming" role-play organisation. In fact, they insist that either their democratic plan (a plan that is way too complicated and inefficient for a role-play organisation) is used, or another person will be appointed for the job (Kronz, Mathias, etc.).
The (gentle)men that were present in the meeting chose me to become the leader, but I have no problem with stepping down if an election is held and either Kronz or Mathias are elected for the position due to this being about the future of role-play, not my own gain. I believe that these two “men” are well suited for the job (as well) and I think there should be at least a democratic election about who will lead the organisation, and hopefully revive role-play to when it was most powerful.

So, me being appointed as the new leader (as of now) has already led to a minor split in role-play where the “opposition” are Rommel and Nilam. I know that most members of this organisation cannot stand them, but we must not forget the goal of the organisation: “To revive role-play through unifying old and new members in one organisation.”

And if we want to succeed properly, we must consider uniting all branches of role-play (and all members) to the role-play we were all once a part of. And hence I wish to state that we should also attempt to unite the different role-plays and make one community that stands strong. However, these are ideas that will be taken up in meetings once a leader has been chosen. So, if everyone would like to please leave a comment below about whether I should remain the leader, or if we should have an election about who should become the new leader, that would be of much help.
