The Black Company

The Black Company was founded in Summer 2013 by the former members of the Fallen Brigade. The players left on friendly terms, and remain close friends of the Fallen today as their history is our own.

Founded by Beauchamp in Summer of 2010, the Fallen Brigade came to life as a counterbalance to all the knightly and goodly clans that warred across Strategus. The group thrived as evil warlords, merciless bandits, and unsavory sorts - all the while, becoming a large gaming clan with mature players. Although mostly based in the EU, the NA contingent would lead in Strategus under Loki, with Ramses in command of our armies and during our battles.

Loki stepped down as Ramses took his place. EU and NA remained large and active for two years, and Tomas would step up during Ramses' time away from the game. Furthermore, the Fallen grew closer to two new clans, the Holy Roman Empire of German players and the Great Khans, an EU cavalry clan. They would all become the Coalition - separate but united clans.

However, over the years and largely from the separation of Strategus into NA and EU sides, NA decided to branch out on its own. With a rich history and a ripe future, the former Fallen members created the Black Company.
