Just stepping in here, after asking Spock asking me to speak up for him on this.

Plainly, These two (kentos and chronos... probably the same person) are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy. Legit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy. I've been a member since 2010 and it definitely hasn't just been an "inactive place". To me, it just looks like these two whoring their new group is trying to gain something from you all, versus Spock, who is offering the keys to the city to whoever wants them and isn't a ♥♥♥♥.

Just look at the facts:

-Kentos and chronos are obviously trying to gain something, either through advertisement of their LAN or something else -- either way it seems fishy as hell

- The original group, has, and always will have, more members, more moderators, more admin and more organic activity than these guys could ♥♥♥♥ out in a year

The verdict stands! If you don't want to get spammed or bothered by advertisements to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ LAN or who knows what else, ignore the trolls and go with Spocks Group!

thekentos123- LOL you're funny kid. You think lies and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will make people join your troll group? Your group even LOOKS trolly. I understand you want your LAN parties to have people at them, but that is not what a steam group is for when you declare it "Madison Wisconsin Gamers". In short, stop spamming locals.


Look- anyone who wants to take an active role in the steam group can if they want, as you are already moderator on my page, but would be glad to make you admin if you put in effort. These guys are trash talking because they don't want to lose control or power over a STEAM GROUP.

Oddly enough what the 'old group admin' accuses the new group of doing is what i see them doing. I'm tired of seeing this stuff. Lets lay it out.

2010 group was made and climbed to around 12 members in total about a week ago.

A guy ( chroNo ) came in and made a new group, about a week ago, members climbed past 50 in the first two days.

2010 group was still at 12 members, and the admin started to act, and started acquiring more members.

Curious though, the 2010 group began to grow after the new group founded, and it was getting members that were already in the new group.

2010 group Admin started calling out the new group administrator slandering him in posts, but from what I see, is simply angry someone did better then he did in a fraction of the time.

I am sad to see this sort of posting on the internet and especially on a steam group page that is not involved at all, but it is the internet.

Please ignore the troll. I've offered this guy equal control of my group and now he is on some weird rage power trip thing. The Madison group that was made in 2010 and this guy is literally stealing members from my page. Please don't encourage him. He unfortunately wants to be selfish and have his own personal control over a geographical group, than actually caring about the community.

Newly founded with nearly 200 members in under a week! Discussion boards with people looking for players in the area in LoL, SC2, CSGO, DOTA2...etc. Our group is running in coordination with LAN organizations in the Madison area, so we can give you the latest information on local gaming events.

Will NOT add random people from outside of the greater Madison area, as other Madison steam groups are doing. Not interested in advertising for anything but LAN events in the area, and for players in the area (for gaming together, team building...etc.).
