As an update on here, I was seriously planning to do something when I posted that last message but the ♥♥♥♥ hit the fan the beginning of the next month as the plumbing literrally collapsed under my apartment so I have no plumbing and it was going to take them weeks to fix it and they had to tear up half my apartment floor to do it, so I basically had to threaten to take it to the authorities just how much I was being inconvenienced, making my apartment pretty much unlivable while they were doing the work and that they had the choice of either pay to move my stuff into storage, paying for the storage and putting me up in a hotel till it was done or they had to let me out of the contract with no penalty fees so I could move. They talked to legal, decided they were screwed if I took any action and not only let me out of the contract but gave me $400 to help me move.New living arrangement makes things like this complicated for now.

Found IT!! Will be refreshing myself on a few spots in the rules I'm a little fuzzy on (mostly in the Dark Champions section), then pulling out my Hero Designer and will start putting something together. Have a few options for playing it online that are better than just a chat client or a message board system, ranging from free, browser based but clunky and with a bit of a learning curve on it's commands, up to $40 for a copy, and the high end one has an option where if a bunch fo people pitched in like $15 to $20 each, I could just upgrade to the 'ULTIMATE' version of my Fantasy Grounds license and then anyone could play with the demo version... Between Fantasy Grounds and the free option is Revolution, which is still early access but cheaper and looks promising.

Was just digging through my game books to actually start seriously working on the Dark Champions campaign "Aquarius Dawning" and have actually started writing a book (which I may or may not ever finish) that glosses over the period of the same timeline, covering a few decades more that I'm calling "Aquarius Dawning: Ashes and Fire" but that is not the reason I'm bothering with this comment. Real reason I'm posting this is to give the update that I'm ready to start working on it and that it's still on hold because the most important rulebook to the setting I can't find. Found every other 5th edition Hero System book I need but not Dark Champions, and it's probably in the same place as my Space Hero and a few other books I don't need. No idea how long it will take me figure out where they are buried and they might be in a couple boxes stored at a friend's house.

Alright.. I'm going to be posting a new discussion and putting the whole Firefly campaign idea on hold. I'm going to use a game system that is much easier to do in what is already in the Fantasy Grounds playset (though not sure it's an actual supported system), and that I have all the books, tools, resources to do... I am going to run a Hero Systems game, and it's not firefly though it is near future Sci-Fi... It's a Dark Champions setting with mutants and psionics set in the year 2052 that I call Aquarius Dawning.
