In this sacred meeting, all members of the Ascendancy, and the Weeny of the Week are present. All other lower Weenies that have the possible capability of attending must, as viewers. The debate on the induction of a new Ascendant is a long and difficult one. It is said that the Ascendants have Weenious’ very own words in their ears as they debate. Once a verdict is passed, very important proceedings are taken. If the Prophet is found to be unworthy of Ascendancy, they are immediately placed in the back of the figurative line of Prophets waiting for an Ascendant to serve under, and face shame for some time. However, if the Prophet is to pass, he is escorted into the incredibly sacred Chamber of Ascension, within which only Ascendants and a Rising Ascendant are allowed. The contents of the ritual taken to advance a Prophet are immensely sacred, and too secret to possibly disclose in this document. Whatever the case, a risen Ascendant leaves the Chamber with all of the duties and responsibilities of any other. These duties include to execute full authority over lower Weenians, and to counsel with other Ascendants on the roles of their inferiors. An Ascendant is a role so exalted, many will never have a chance to become one. Additionally, Ascendants will have the unique privilege to view the only existing photo of St. Weenious himself. Many Ascendants will experience an extreme emotional reaction to seeing this photo, as it seemingly radiates holiness.
