New Zealand Expeditionary Force [NZEF]

Welcome to the Home of the NZEF WW1 Group and unofficial home to the NZEF clan/regiment.

This group strives to be a source of good information for players whom enjoy the WW1 genre of games and have an interest in NZ's participation and contribution to the Great War. There are quite a few discussions available on history of the NZEF, ANZAC, NZ Divisions/regiments/squadrons and theatres of war.

Furthermore, this group will focus on the number one WW1 FPS game on the market -Verdun - with gameplay tips, asistance for new players in the art of trenchwarfare , artillery/gas , squad tatics etc.

Please feel free to recommend other titles which we may consider associating with.

This group is open to everyone, all we ask is that you please abide by the NZEF Group /Steam rules and guidelines, be respectful of other members , but most of all have fun!

We are very eager to link up with other groups that are dedicated to war games, that are set prior to WWII. So if you know of a group, or are a group owner, then please message me directly so that we can discuss.

Content is being added daily, and there is a lot of content for me to transition across to steam, so please bare with me, until we get a reasonable level of content published (as at 13th Oct 2014).

The Verdun NZEF is to be shutdown

The Verdun NZEF group wil be shut down on the 21st February. In it's place will be a new NZEF group that is not game specific (but wil include a Verdun forum).

The reason for closing this group, is that want one that covers WWI, WWII and modern warfare, so in essence all wars (or Tours of duty) that the NZEF has been part of.

I am working on moving all infrmation herein contained to the new group. You all will be sent an invite, when that group is ready (and it's going to be awesome)

The Verdun NZEF POW goes to M2H_Matt, purely for having racked up 161 hours game play (which is on the light side I'm sure - as those hours are only the steam reported ones)

Matt is one of the dev's whom have worked hard to deliver this awesome WW1 FPS game, and is a top player in his own right.
