Hey everyone, Code Slasher here. It has been a long time since there has been an official, open UberUpgrades PvP server up. If you have never experienced it, things can get pretty crazy after a PvP map has been up for a while.

Why not relive the madness, or experience it for the first time, at least for a little while? Maybe you have not played Team Fortress 2 in ages, or maybe you would like to see how it is outside of Valve's official servers these days.

This is your chance.

On March 27, from 10 am Eastern Daylight Time to 10 pm, I will transform US MvM #4 into a PvP server. The server will be playing mostly official maps that have hardly ever been played, if at all, with UberUpgrades 0.9.8. I want to gauge the interest in UberUpgrades PvP and see if US MvM #4's hardware setup can handle it, but I also have something to sweeten the deal.

During the event, I will be giving away a Pokemon Sword/Shield Mystery Gift code for a Zarude at some point. I will be giving it away if I am on the server and if we are on a Jungle Inferno map. The code should expire on March 31, so be sure to use it quickly if you want it and win it. If you know of someone else who plays either of these games and Team Fortress 2, now would be a good time to let them know about UberUpgrades!

Make sure that you add uberupgrades.ddns.net to your favorites (add it like you would an IP address). You can also click the address on the event page (not here), and it should launch your game and take you there.

I hope to see some of you there!

Some disclaimers, though... I fully expect this not to go completely smoothly, especially not at first. The server will probably crash at some point, or I might botch the setup somehow. I also will probably not be able to fix the Jungle Inferno items, add too many new items to the "approved" list by then, etc.... so some upgrades will probably be broken. All I ask is that you please bear with me.

In addition... I tend to get salty sometimes in PvP, so bonus points if you find a way to have a good game without making me mad, lol.

oh damn my bad gangsta i didnt realise there were no official pvp servers left, rip in peace, was playing on a community server i found which had the name uber upgrades but that was only on the orange map and last night i realised something was def off, didnt realise it was an unofficial remake

Youre probably playing on a non official remake of uberupgrades

Unfortunately theres only one official uberupgrades server left for now hosted by Code Slasher: 104.254.218.148:27015 (MVM Only)

Also the command should be /qbuy

hi i havent played uber upgrades in a long time but i remember there being much more upgrades and choices and stuff, whatever happened to that? like as soldier you could make your rocket launcher shoot 1 really slow but really big rocket, it was in a seperate category of upgrades with upsides and downsides and every class had their own unique special upgrades they could choose, also you used to be able to mass buy upgrades is that still a thing and if so whats the command?
