Theres strong and then theres army strong

Webster defines strong as having great physical power. As having moral or intellectual power. As strinking or superior of its kind. But with all due respect to webster. There's strong, and then there's army strong. It is a strength like none other. It is a physical strength, It is an emotional strength, it is a strength of character, and strength of purpose. The strength to do good today, and the strength to do well tomorrow. The strength to obey, and strength to command. The strength to build, and strength to tear down. The strength to get yourself over, and the strength to get over yourself. There is nothing on this green earth, that is stronger than the US Army. Because there is nothing on this green earth, that is stronger than a US Army Soldier. Army Strong.

To anyone who is heading into Basic Training in Fort Jackson, the standard there has changed for all training Battalions there. You must now meet the 60% for all Exercises in the PT Test, Discipline and Military Bearing is now upheld even more and Drill Sergeants might be allowed to "help" in minor cases involving "safety". Make sure your PT. Discipline, Military Bearing, Respect, and your Rifle Marksmanship is in order and most, if not all, of you would be fine. Make sure to listen to the battle buddies that are always getting recognized if they give good advice, and stay away from the people who only are there for themselves and not to help the team. Good Luck to all of you and hope you have a great future ahead
