Disclaimer: This is an Alpha release designed for testing. Campaign is fine, but Versus should be the focus here. The map was designed for versus, and should be ready to play. I am aware of a few bugs, read the changelog to see what makes sense to report:

Map 1 of Dead and Disorderly has made it to Alpha status! Over the next week or maybe a little longer expect all found bugs to be ironed out and a Beta will be released to the public.

Changes -

Known bugs -

- The skybox is a little close to the playable area in a few spots, leading to the rainstorm having an obvious fog difference in the skybox, though it's really only noticeable in a couple of spots.

- Survivor bots will teleport back through points of no return/lengthy return. No solution has been found as the Survivor bot code allows for this to happen even in official maps!

- Occasionally, infected get hung up on an infected ladder here and there.

- There are a few areas that aren't completely detailed, though most areas are sufficient.

- May be some clipping issues on some of the fence surfaces, though this is absolutely not game breaking.

- Survivor bots will follow you. It may seem like they aren't going to before you leave the first hall way, but they will start as soon as you exit the double doors.

- Missed the mark on a nav mesh in the bathrooms, a few zombies might spawn where they shouldn't.

Information about the gameplay -

Map one takes place in a police station and the immediate surrounding area. Length is a bit longer than the Parish map 1, but definitely tougher. The campaign was designed with versus as a priority, but campaign-mode was tweaked to the best of my singular ability. Be aware that this map will be hard for the survivors. The lobby of the police station is a loop over point with two return sections, meaning a smoker, jockey, or charger (even a well timed boom or hunter,) can take you back to the lobby in two separate points of the map. There are two points of no return. There hopefully is ample ladder placements for infected, at least a balanced amount.

Do not attempt to walk on the glass skylights, there is about a 99% chance you will fall through back to the lobby. Smoke tongues can break this glass, as can common infected if enough pile onto it.

A slew tier one weapons are visible from the starting area, but not accessible until a bit later on in the map. They are not on the main path flow, they are off to the side. There are a few points where any weapon available in L4D2 can spawn, but in campaign there is usually only ONE of them you can pick up before it disappears. Exploration is a worth while endeavor. There are tons of item spawns, and most of them are somewhat off the beaten path. There are only a few defib spawn points, and don't expect to even see one spawn.

This map and all subsequent maps will take place during a thunderstorm. This means that hordes are frequent. Even if the storm passes and you think the director was nice to you, they will arrive shortly.
