The Wrecking Crew - ArmA 3 British MilSim/Realism

The Wrecking Crew is a Realism group that prides itself in its dedication to realistic ArmA game play without a permanent and rigid rank structure. While we play mostly as British Forces to make coherent training possible, we have a whole host of players who come from all over the world, some as far out as Malaysia and South Africa.

We have no out of game rank structure, we just have members and those yet to be but treated as; as long as you are competent and prove yourself through your actions. Anything is possible, with the right training, from leading a platoon to driving a tank the next week. The freedom to experience so much is something you will struggle to find in most other ArmA groups whilst achieving a high level of cohesion.


If you would like to experience first hand what it's like to operate with TWC, come join us on our public server. It runs different game modes with dynamic objectives on the fly made in-house. The game play is more relaxed than in our operations, but it's a great way to get your feet wet and to see if you like the water.


Along with a public server that runs 24/7, the biggest event our group hosts are weekly 'operations' with between 25 to 40 people as well as occasional 'joint operations' with other groups which have encompassed up to 70 people.

In these operations any person can play any role as long as they have received the corresponding training (if required).

Our operations span over a century of warfare, with a monthly rotation of World War 2, Cold War, Turn of the Millennium and Modern operations. This means that in one month you can liberate a French town from Nazi occupation, halt a Soviet mechanised assault in the plains of Northern Germany, brawl with Iraqi armour in the deserts of Kuwait and patrol through the hills of Afghanistan, searching for insurgents.

In our operations we strive for fun and engaging realism, we find real-life solutions for problems that we may face in game, while omitting more tedious parts of military duty like saluting and hour-long marches. We aim for the most teamplay enabling experience possible and thus are limited in HUD, first person and require ACRE 2 for communication.

Our operations take place at Saturday 19:00 (BST) and can take up to four hours or more.
