Around this time last year, I made a post about Gender Equality and how both guys and girls are affected by inequality online.
Today, I would like to talk about something else that affects millions of people every day, both off and online.

I was watching a PeanutButterGamer stream on Saturday night and towards the end of the stream, There was a discussion about Anxiety and mental health, and it got me thinking, There are a lot of people who have really bad anxiety, to the point where they have panic attacks, Austin himself said that he has bad anxiety. It meant a lot to me that one of my favorite youtubers could talk so openly about his past experiences with mental health.

Over the last 6 months, I've been having a lot of panic attacks, This ranges from really bad anxiety when i'm sitting in the front room watching TV to walking in public and trying not to break down. I'm not saying I need help and this isn't an outcry for help, I've found my own way of dealing with it. Watching that stream made me realize that its okay to talk about it. In the end, People are welcome to have different opinions on it, But it is okay to talk about it.

A lot of people keep it to themselves, A lot of people think that if they ignore their problems, that they will just go away. Talking about these things is the best way to dealing with it, If you ignore it, it doesn't just vanish, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression all these things don't just vanish. The more you ignore them the worse it will get.

People are often bullied for having a mental health problems, Ranging from being called a freak for having ADHD or someone saying "Why can't you be happy" to someone with depression. "Why aren't you normal" You are normal, There isn't anything abnormal about having these issues. It's very normal, you're not a freak, there is nothing wrong with you.
It may seem like you're alone in this, but you're not and you never will be, You can talk to people about this, your friends, your family. There are also multiple message boards and helplines you can talk to.
