Technomancy Networks - Game Server Networks

Hey!

Long time no speak, i have been missing this amazing community that i built last year and i was so devastating that i had to shut down the servers due to technical errors with the hosters losing all the files for the server!

However i am back better than ever with quite alot of time soon on my breaks inbetween college study time and im so excited to start a new project with the help of you all as i have returned with alot more knowledge of programming and i need your help!

I want to start up a new server with a brand new gamemode but i need your help to develop these ideas in creation and only YOU can decide what you want for this community because you know what is best. I have a few ideas on what we could do but i want your feedback so that i know i am doing whats best for this community!

Idea One:
I was thinking of remaking nazi zombies starting with nacht der untoten with a fully functioning round system, ramping difficulty, guns from accross the whole game franchise and a few magical twists to the genre. I want to add model customisation that makes sense, not trails that do not fit the genre but camos for your guns, hats, glasses, scars, tattoos, clothes and thats not the start of it.

I want to expand this into perks for your crew, sort of like group buffs as well as classes that benefit from using a specific set of weapons and styles that may help you get out of a sticky situation. This can be unlocked by competing with other crews to earn your crew points so that you can take the trophy being the greatest zombie hunters!

Unique easter eggs that are interesting and take a different turn in the zombies universe using aspects from all the different games, your crew can pick what song you want played when you activate the song easter egg or a random song that you have unlocked through hunting and slaughtering zombies. I want to introduce bosses that are challenging but aren't going to be frustrating but will give you a magnificent set of exclusive rewards with no grinding required!

Achievements that you can work towards to earn you more individual points to add to your playthrough! These achievements and quests will be created for the community by the community and is where you will be involved in the project! We want you to think of some really interesting and engaging achievements that will keep you wanting to play more and more!

The possibilities are endless with this and i would love to hear you opinion on it!

Idea Two:
So does anyone remember that really poorly made risk factions game? That game that crashes on multiplayer and can't handle a single turn ? Well thats where i thought to reacreate that but with a twist! You can grab some friends and play a fast paced game of risk factions. Do you want to dominate space and take over your best friends planet in a star wars themed universe? Giving you the choice to pick what your troops look like, cowboys in space with an army of minions lead by Darth vador himself? Do you want to take over spring field as bart simpson and take over your sisters house with an army of spider pigs? Yeah well this may be the gamemode that you enjoy with a range of customisable options and how you want to take over your friends house!

These two are my ideas, my first one is more thought out and extensive but i feel like these are something that GMOD hasn't done correctly and could be done starting with our amazing community!
