Camping Trip? (California)

It was brought to my attention a few of you would like to go on a camping trip. Anyone wanna specify a local cause theres at least 5 places near Los Banos in the central valley. I've camped at Cyote lake its nice but the roads a bit of a pain. I've camped up north near the Sac delta thats nice but far. Suggestions?
