Following a period of inactivity, there will be a changes regarding the starting roster for Cynergy's Counter Strike: Global Offensive team.

• Popeyes_ps has moved to a backup position from the starting roster due to personal reasons. We respect his decision and will continue to support him as he is still a part of Cynergy. He will play if it is absolutely vital to the team, but you can catch him streaming on and off at Popeyes_ps.[go.twitch.tv]

• 20two, windyy, and Zeus have been brought back into the starting roster, with windyy fulfilling the Entry Fragger role for the time being, 20two back on the big green gun, and Zeus as the team's all-around player.

• Recruit members that you feel have the potential to be a good in-game leader, or dedicated support for the roster. In addition, message windy if you have concerns about your position on the team / if you would like any changes to be made regarding said position.

Cynergy.CS is proud to announce the addition of an "Academy" team in addition to our active lineup. Joining us are players that are of the low to high Silver range that have great potential to improve.

- Tryouts for replacement spot to be held
As a rule of thumb, change is constant and evolution is unstoppable. As a result, Cynergy CS:GO would like to announce the that Kman / Obscure will be benched from the starting lineup, due to internal issues with select members in the team. Originally joining the team as a new player, he has shown improvement as a player and as a friend to several individuals in the group. For a player with a long sheet of "outbursts" and mistakes, he was willing, eager, and determined to improve in the game. There is nothing but good things to say about him as a player, but as the evolution of this game rolls on and we move deeper into 2017 and into 2018, it is very apparent that his being part of the lineup will simply not translate into results moving forward.

- From this moment forward, Cynergy will be conducting tryouts and will decide on any new addition(s) to the roster. During this time of trials, we ask that members remain patient and steadfast alongside the team in this time of transition. Suggest members to 20two and windy that you think would be able to work with the team, or volunteer yourself as tribute.

In order to begin the application process, we ask that any qualified players interested in trying out with the starting Cynergy.CS roster please message 20two and windy.


• Must be willing to play "♥♥♥♥♥" spots / follow up with the team, often as the second-third man into a bomb site as a Terrorist, or be the first man into a bombsite. In addition, a player often will be asked to be an anchor (bombsite) for the team on the Counter-Terrorist side.
• Must be willing to improve as a player and always trying their best with the team, regardless of conditions (scoreline) in-game. However, things out of game are excusable. With that being said, not everything that happens out-of-game can be used as an excuse to purposely underperform in matches.
• Must currently be at least the Gold Nova rank.


• Fluency in the English language
• Previous competitive experience (in teams)
• Previously a Master Guardian, or currently at least a Master Guardian

Previously, we had tried to implement a team practice system which had failed due to not abiding by said system. This time, we will have a set system for which we will practice individually and as a team. Comment what times you are available, and a suitable schedule will be made for everyone in the team. During team practice, we will work on set executes, nades, retaking sites, et cetera. Following this, a scrim between us or other team(s) will be played to close out the session.

The server is still being worked on, however feel free to help if you wish - https://discord.gg/DAMqh2a. We will use the server to chill / discuss strategies pre and post-match, as well as communicating with each other in-game.

Send your suggestions for team logos and / or individual avatars for players to 20two and windy! You can find one on the internet, or make one yourself if you wish. We will then consider two to four images that we deem acceptable to use for our team, and will message you when we have come to a decision.
