Movies, smooth jazz and a commitment to racial sensitivity!

On a Friday or Saturday, all you want to do is sit back with a pint, or a cup of tea and jaffa cakes, or a large bottle of vodka and watch some movies with good company. Here at Tabby, that's what we aim to provide.

Every Friday and Saturday night at 8:30 GMT, join us for movie action and general amusement. Snacks are provided at the front, all we ask is that you sit down, shut your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouth and LIKE it.

...er, I mean, come join us and enjoy yourself! When else will you get free cinema tickets every week?

Ever thought to yourself “I like this website, but I sure wish it used more flexboxes”? Strong aversion to Bootstrap maybe?

Well fear not! The website has been completely... mostly... revamped for this, the 30th year of our beloved Tabby, 2019. Gone is the mid-2000s styling - say hello to the future, comprising one or two gradients. Stunning. Revolutionary.

The video page, once the central attraction of the site, has been completely revamped (for real this time, not just the CSS). One player now handles both RTMP and HLS. If your browser is... well, let’s face it, not a mobile browser, the new video player emulates HLS for you. Isn’t that nice.

So yeah. Occasionally I do return from the dead.

I forgot that the site had broken completely at some point in the past. Since the Great Hard Drive Crash of 2018 reverted the site to the broken state, everything resumed being broken.

No more! Not only can you log in once again, you can also use the old IMDb system the way we used to! Avoid ambiguity in your movie choices today and save me 5 minutes of investigating movies of varying years of release.

I just wanted to say, I'm glad to finally be involved with a new group. I feel like I've found new friends, I feel like I've found a new family, I feel like I've found....hope.
