TSRP!!!!

We all loved TSRP 5-8 years ago. But the fact is TSRP is dead and has been dead for 4+ years after the devs released 3.1 and closed down their website.

My RP name was Dest Romano, I ran Dest's JustRP server for a few year and RP'ed on NukeSilo for about four years. TSRP was a unique, engaging experience that forged lasting relationships between players and I really miss that. Unlike TF2 or League of Legends or Starcraft there was this sense of permanence: I could also login to JustRP or Nukesilo and see familiar faces, I knew the cops, the mob, I would walk up to Shadow Jones and just smoke a cig while we laughed about what the other orgs were doing. I would team up with Dudeman and Kakashi to execute a daring hit on a talkative mafioso. I'd always be eyeing that certain property on the map, waiting until the owner was willing to sell it and the gunspawn inside. People mattered. YOU mattered. Outside of TSRP, I haven't found any community like that since.

TSRP is dead but the desire this type of gameplay is not. I've been looking into starting a GMOD server with emulates the old TSRP plugins. Most of the code is already done, so stick around and we should have a server released by May 2013!

All of us have grown a ton since the old days. I know everyone can't spend every day on the server like we used to, but if you all have some time on the weekends then come check us out!
