Rome owns Carthage and as such is subject to the laws it makes. Also, my mistake then, but perhaps you should look up the definition of a “joke” as that was more of a threat/statement. But let’s discuss something new, how is the weather in Carthage? I hear it’s wonderful this time of year.

Sir Johnny you do not understand my propsal, so do not reply to it. You think I was saying treat them well and there will be more rebellion, which is not what I was saying at all. I was saying Rome needs to treat slaves well to avoid rebellion. Like Spartacus. Who was mistreated and caused a rebellion.
