Capture Something!

This group will host the weekly Map Tactic training sessions so that general training members who aren't interested in Map Tactics won't get pesky notifications.

We will focus on one map each week...I've tried 3 and even 2, but it takes at least an hour for each map...even 2fort...and it gets tiresome to go longer than an hour for training. Includes when to use scout rushes, where to put sentries, teleporters, and dispensers, etc.

B. Gravelpit.
C. Well
D. Granary.
E. Dustbowl.
F. Hydro.

It happened in that order. It looks like training sessions aren't going to happen for at least 6 weeks. I hope to have everything smoothed out and start up training again around mid April. By then I should have my student loan paid off, a new 1333Mhz motherboard and DDR3 1333Mhz RAM with a 3.0Ghz (1333Mhz FSB) quad core processor installed; plus, start getting some parts to get my car back on the road. Then I'll be able to buy a server and do the training up right...including spending some time developing some training maps that use bots for practice i.e. an engineering bot who keeps building a dispenser and sentry so you can practice sap & stab, etc.

Dustbowl was all we covered!

It's amazing how complicated Dustbowl is. I intended to cover 2fort and Gravelpit during the same day, but Dustbowl took 2 hours. So, I suspect Hydro have the same problem. Now I'm looking at breaking the map tactics up into 4 separate sections:

Dustbowl
2fort & Gravelpit
Hydro
Well & Granary

So, next week we can have some map tactic discussions for 2fort and Gravelpit.
