Welcome to the Unofficial TorchED for Torchlight II (GUTS) Modding Community Group

Welcome to the unofficial modding community for Torchlight II.

This is a public group for discussion about the upcoming release of the TorchED editing tool for Torchlight 2, know as GUTS. Toss around ideas, get to know know your fellow modders, get sneak peaks at mods, find people to beta test your mods, group modding events, and more! No soliciting please. Modding is supposed to be a hobby, not a business.

We have been promised an editor!

Moddability - TorchED, the Torchlight II editor, will give players the ability to create their own mods, adding even more content to the world. Have your friends download the same mod and play together. TorchED will be available as a separate download very shortly after launch.

Steam Workshop Confirmed!

Runic games confirms that there will be a Steam Workshop for Torchlight 2 Mods with this simple quote, "There was no reason not to". Read the full article on Game Spy at the link below.

Hello everyone! I've just posted my first TL2 mod. Fish For Sale! It adds the permanent effect fish to the general goods merchants throughout the game and increases the cost and resale value. @Elfayeur - Runic Games hasn't told us when the new editor will be out (probably within a month or so) but there is a database of tools, resources, and information put together by RGF until the official Editor is released.
