Nacon has announced that Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown has been delayed to 2023 and that the last-generation versions of the game have been cancelled.

In a blog post, it said its “goal with Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is to make it the most polished gaming experience in the franchise by spending more time on its development”.

The racing game was previously scheduled to be released in September 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Nacon also confirmed on Wednesday that it will no longer be released for Microsoft‘s and Sony‘s last-generation consoles.

Finally they comitted to at least a monthly newsletter. Hoping they will keep onto that and give us some infos about what to expect.

It's going to be a dumpster fire, 3 years later still no real in-game pictures and they want to promise everything and will end up underdelivering and killing the franchise again.

Hi, ich bin ein sehr großer Fan und das seid der ersten stunde, wie viele andere Fans wünsche ich mir ein VR Mode für Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crow. Für mich steht es fest, gibt es kein VR Support für das Spiel, kaufe ich das Game nicht. Ich hoffe die Entwickler gehen mit der Zeit und denken an den massiven spiel spaß den man mit VR haben kann.
