...but it doesn't work like that.
Next time I start working on this again, regularly and faithfully, I plan to find a modeler to help with inspiration. It's distracting to shoot cans and melons (grenades and mortars) from a crossbow, however humorous.
On a side note, the growth of this group is inspiring and impressive as I've not advertized it anywhere.
In other news, my current project has been consuming most of my spare time for the past several months. It's coming along well, and when I reach a good place to pause, I'll have a look at this mod again. Have become much more fluent with C++ in the mean time.
There's a Source SDK update tomorrow, so I'll probably tinker with the new goodies unless Valve breaks everything again.
...the chat window has been fixed thanks to the Jailbreak: Source dev blog.
...something broke itself real good and I'm getting a lot of errors I never got before. Gives me an excuse to backup existing changes and download the updated mod source code. Shouldn't be hard to re-implement what I've done thus far.
...and I think I have an idea for the chaingun of how to get around Havok's velocity limit (what I think is heavily biasing velocity vectors). Unfortuantly, it's hardly optimized.
Until I sufficiently complete another project I won't be working on this nearly as much as I'd like to. Plus, Windows is about to make like the Hindenburg (again), so I might go back to Linux for a while.
I do appreciate the support though, much thanks.
