We are more than just the users of the software, we are more than the players of the games, we are the Steamalians, we are the devoted Steam people, we are the new race of people.

Going beyond humanity and into the world where impossible is possible, and possible is just plain stupid, you will find a new race lead by the people that follow.

Wave your flag up high and proud, show the world that you are a Steamalian, and not just a simple everyday player. We are one, and we are more, our numbers are less, but we remain the majority, for we are more than a community.

Welcome to the new world, in an old and farmiliar place.

On a serious note: try to remember that the Steam logo used in the flag image belongs to Valve and that we do not try to be or immotate the fine people who run it.

It's time for a little growth spurt.

It's time to wave the national Steam flag and promote our race to the outsiders, we're off to a good enough start but we must grow and be known. If you know anybody who may be interested in becoming a Steam, let them know of our kind and bring 'em in.

Everyone has invite rights, and the group is public, but making it open to join doesn't make everyone know we're here. Once we have a good enough looking member base we may look into some officer recruitment among the original Steams, hopefully get a server splashed about here and there and start some events.

Hello and welcome all who have decided to join this fine race of people, known as the Steams. Just laying down the basics of all rules, don't be a bunghole and don't act like you're a god and give us a bad name. Inappropriate actions will result in being kicked from the group and anyone who feels they were wronglfully removed from the group can talk to me about it and look into the situation, we'll then determine if it was wrong or not.

For those of you who didn't look at the whole announcement, the basic gist is, invite people and we'll look into some officer recruitment, possible servers and maybe some events.
