So my library just comes up as the default version, can anyone help me fix that?

Actually found out that there's a program called SteamUI-OldGlory that lets you make Themes for the Library and also allows considerable modification to it as well.

Well I got a laugh out of this Skin when I enabled it at least. Shame there's no way (I'm guessing) to fix the ugly Library. Not sure why valve still leaves the option for skins if you can't change 80% of the UI.

I'm really loving this skin at the minute.

Neekow: I just released 1.6.53, with fixes to the layout changes in Settings -› Downloads.

Looks like the last steam client update changed somehting about the download speed limit in settings, so now i can't change it while using the skin =/

Launch parameter "-no-browser" for steam will default to the original chat/friendslist. However it does ♥♥♥♥ the library view, store page, and anything else that's browser-based.

When (not if) Steam overhauls the UI to the new system.. it will be a terrible day for everyone who still uses skins.

The default UI already felt like a bloated waste of space, but the new UI feels like it's made for mobile devices; like Microsoft's "Modern" UI. A trend programs and websites have been adopting for a while now.

Seems like every half a decade companies decide to change things for the benefit of.. something or other. I never understand why, nor understand why they don't give users options, even if they don't bother to update the old UI anymore and just add a disclaimer to it.

Power users want the old UI every time, but companies just don't listen and we're all forced to deal with these changes every single time.

Seems nothing ever gets better and no product is safe from it.

I'm still working on the update. However, there's only so much I can do about the new Friends and chat UI, since it's separate from the regular skinning system. If they've removed support for the -nofriendsu and -nochatui launch commands I don't think there's anything else I can do about that. I will however update the remaining parts of the skin as far as I'm able.

New steam update has broken the FriendsUI once again -steamos doesn't work as the new garbage friendsUI will over right the skins

please release a new version and make the friends ui look like the one from years ago.
