Early this morning (AEST)
Star Citizen reached the very special milestone of $20 Million in crowd-funding, and is easily a record breaker for this avenue of investment.

Initially, it was Chris Roberts aim of hitting that ambitious mark by release time, but it has been smashed out of the water.
(discussed by Chris earlier this year)

This can only mean good things for the development, and I look forward to seeing the cheery face of Eric "Wingman" Peterson later, on a special episode of Wingman's Hangar, making another announcement.
No doubt there will be scenes of wild jubilation down at that Texan dream factory of Cloud Imperium Games, so tune in Citizens, if not only for Wingman's weight..

In essence, this is just a group but it is not a fully fledged official clan.
The point of making this page was having an easy to access forum for us locals in this part of the globe to share some game discussions, plans or ideas.

Surely it's a good thing if Aussies and Kiwi's want to stick together, and stick it to those.. Imperialists.. But it's a secondary goal to having a forum.

Clansmen and clanswomen talk is not necessarily the intention for participating with SCANZ, as there are no stated goals here for gameplay, due to the scope of potential playstyles and differences in personal objectives. There are no "rules" here apart from a some slight (very slight) common decency expected. These are open discussions. If anyone has: opinions, questions or something to share, the SCANZ forum is always open.
