After Solace and Ryuji's extremely hard work on creating a page on the TF2Wiki about Sneaky Longshots was rudely rightfully deleted due to "not being a well enough known or used term to warrant it's own page", they decided to spread the word about the mysterious Sneaky Longshot via the powers of a Steam Group.

I'm not glad you asked. The meaning of the term "Sneaky Longshot" varies from class to class.

The most common use of the term Sneaky Longshot is for when a player gets headshotted by an enemy Sniper, respawns, then hides as far away as possible from the previous enemy Sniper and kills him with a headshot.

A lesser well known version of the term Sneaky Longshot is for when a player is playing as a Spy. The player needs to disguise as a friendly Sniper, camp in a normal sniping position for that map, and score a headshot kill on an enemy Sniper to achieve a Spy Sneaky Longshot.

The final and least known version of the term Sneaky Longshot is for the Pyro. A friendly Sniper wielding the Huntsman must fire a Huntsman arrow at an enemy Pyro, who must reflect said arrow towards you. You then need to reflect the still-flying Huntsman arrow into an enemy Sniper who is also wielding the Huntsman.
