COD SnD Competitive Sniping - Official rules

This group was made in agreement with the community of Black Ops 1 in order to spread the word of an alternative competitive way of sniping.

Unlike the old offical rules from Mw2, these rules were made by the people who love the ESL gameplay. Therefore Search and Destroy is the only true gamemode. (Notice that hardscope is not allowed unlike in ESL)

Perks

● Quickscope perk is allowed if needed.

● Steady aim, laser or anything alike is not allowed.

● Sound improving perks are allowed. (fx Awareness from Black Ops 2)

● Ninja or anything that lowers or completely removes the sound of your footsteps in-game is not allowed.

● Perks for increased mobillity and movement speed is allowed (for instance Lightweight & Marathon)

● Damage/penetration improving perks are allowed.


Attachments and equipments

● The only scope that is allowed are the stock or standard scope. (Unless it happens to be extremely odd looking)

● Tomahawk/Throwing knife is allowed if the participating clans agree on it.

● Tactical/Lethal grenades are not allowed.

● No special equipment like claymores, bounching betty's etc.


Gameplay

● No hardscopping at all, this includes jumps over tall objects.

● No excessive noscoping, especially at close range.

● Halfscopes are considered as noscope, and therefore goes by the rule above.

● Massive camping should be avoided in order to maximize the fun, if the participants fail to meet this condition, the war can be cancelled.


Server/host settings

● Offical gamemode is Search and Destory, but other gamemodes will be accepted in fun wars. (If the participants agree)

● No killstreaks of any kind is allowed, non-lethal or not.

● Killcam enabled.

● Lowered health is only a condition if the game does not have a sniper able to perform one-shot kills. (In situations of multiple bolt action snipers the health is decided by the one with most firepower)

● Dead chat off

● Softcore or Hardcore are both approved, decision is made by the participants.
