So I don't like the idea of drawing tons of rings on different bodies.. I love Insurgency for the immersion and the one ring already is sort of meh.. The medpack rings are very subtle and the jammer ring is our most blatant which im still torn on.

A simple thing could be showing the seconds until player X is going to respawn and number of lives left. We could change the color of the ring... but you should already know if its a medic by visually seeing the model, looking for medic patches, and or the [tag]name in the text.

Classic Sernix.. You guys are making me feel old now lol. Its only been around 3 years now.

Hodor is my voice of reason! =) Sernix has always been about adding more content and options to create more teamwork/strategy. Its a driving force for me as well. Ultimately though I want to make something thats fun for the community else whats the point.

The bad:
So a classic Sernix is tough mainly because even if I did dig up an older theater builds, many things would not be compatible with either NWI changes and or model/material assets that I no longer have or are broken from the old legacy workshop days.. It would be bad to go back that way. Older sourcemod plugins may work but even that has gotten updated on servers. My work files in general have also become sort of a hot mess over the years (this is apparent in my github) but overall I understand where my most crucial files are and since its only me managing the project.

The good:
The easiest method for a classic feel would be to just have a server that has no jugs with smaller other main tweaks.. Basically once we get it to a "classic" feel, I will leave it at that and likely rarely update it. We can try to go back on older sourcemod medic/revive plugins and remove other plugins but I won't likely spend too much time on this since it can be a hot mess.

So you come in and you have no lives to spawn? The wave timer should still spawn you I believe.

Its so annoying because its such a cool map. Maybe someone can reach out to RC-MAN and see if he can experiment with removing the catwalk model below bridge and see if thats causing lag. I tried so many different tricks. I even spent time highlighting the entire bridge and making it into a world brush from an entity. My guess is its maybe the catwalk model below the bridge.. If thats not it.. THe toughest part is testing if it lags after a change. Compiling maps over and over take lots of time. Alternatively, he can move the bridge point and spawns etc..

Yeah this has been one of those "I dont know how to fix" bugs but when I tried working on it in the past, I always felt it was somehting stupid super simple. Its just once I start spending an hour on it, I start thinking how many other things I can work on. When I add in modular security models, Ill take another shot at it =P

Actually that g3a3 URL might be the one we are using but outdated.

Reboot your game, make sure your insurgency/custom folder is empty.

Also make sure you don't have insurgency/materials and insurgency/models folders that were downloaded by their server since some servers do that.
