KAC Masterkey and XM26 LSS are one of the few available. Buckshot round for 203 would be an alternative.

Wouldn't Squad or Arma3 be better suited, gameplay wise?

Just now couldn't revive on server 1 and got no respawns either. Even on a counter after a cap, people wouldn't respawn. Dragging didn't work either.

More distinguishable uniforms/camo/gear?

You might want to give Quickload a try, it's reloading and ballistics software. Input the right load and you get a whole wealth of values.

I've only seen bspsrc recommended for decompiling, looks like the only option. It works well, but I've had the same, trying to get hold of a texture or replacing those missing.

I have experienced what I consider good teamwork on both Sernix and other server. Had a leader of the squad who gave direction to the squad. Personally, I like that. I assume that is how a squad in the military works. Not everyone wants to be a leader and not everyone wants to be a minion. I think 3 squads with a leader working together can beat any thing Daiymo throws at us.

What I would suggest, if possible, is having separate coms by squad and a general com channel.
