Suppression does affect bots aim, reaction, etc.. so I can totally understand the reservation for rehauling MG ammo amounts and weights. It will eventually come but for now just find ways to adapt.

I think it's kinda pointless to remove single/double as the iron sights are pretty good, I'd just use that instead. Furthermore the slow ADS time is already enough of a deterrent for close quarters use. People seem to be using a zoom scope with the laser for hipfire a lot nowadays so if I were to nerf it further I would remove the laser first. But it's really not necessary as the gun handles like a fridge right now.

Can we get a little bit more info on the AI Director? As I understand it, the AI Director increases the bot spawn or difficulty if we kill them too fast or something like that. I'm curious if the AI Director is just a threshold on/off switch for a set "hard" mode or if it functions like a PID controller with less limits. Thanks!

There's something funny about being able to carry both the M240 and the PKP, and switching between them so fast with all the light options.

I will soon when the only gun template isn't the mp5. I'll probably do all the 9mm sidearms first. I kinda did my own thing with the ammo mods separating the hollow point spec and the match spec unlike the combination mk262

Okay so the falloff curve follows the equation max_y * ( 1 - POWER(2, -x/HL))

The equation can be a power of anything (like e) but for ease of fitting the curve I use 2 so you can eyeball the halfway mark. Thus the constant "HL" is a half-life of sorts. My curve generator spaces the data points out such that if your bullet retains energy well (aka high HL), the points won't exceed the maximum relevant distance in insurgency maps. If your bullet has a low HL and a smaller curve there is a cutoff to ensure that the points are allocated to the start of the curve.

Furthermore, using my Python module it is easy to write your own script to clean up old and unused ammo types.

I don't know if people have a need for this, but you can potentially add tracer options to every ammo type automatically too

I think the rear spawns are at a comfortable infrequent level, personally.

Just tested my script to generate ammo for each gun, it works! I have a generic multiplier template for each ammo type and a standard ammo configuration taken from daimyo's theater. I then generate damage falloff curves for each gun so they all have unique ammos. I added JSP as an intermediate ammo before JHP, and also a match ammo template to make shooting in those large maps more fun.

I have yet to finish copying over the templates for everything but here's an example with the mp5
