SMG (Scottish Modern Gaming) Returns to Competitive Counter-Strike

After a period of inactivity, we are proud to announce the relaunch and full restructuring of our long-dormant esports division — Team SMG (Scottish Modern Gaming) — with the goal of competing in ESEA Season 56.

With Season 55 beginning on July 14th, we are using this window to rebuild our Counter-Strike roster from the ground up, bringing fresh energy and ambition back into the team. Our vision is to re-enter the competitive scene stronger and more focused, with a revitalised squad ready to climb the ranks and earn their place among the region's top-tier talent.

What We’re Looking For:
5 core players — a mix of active and possibly retired talent looking to make a return.

2 coaching staff positions — for tactical oversight and performance development.

Requirements:
Must have or be willing to activate a monthly ESEA subscription (approx. £10.73 / $10.73).

An active FACEIT account is required for scouting and additional match preparation.

💰 Prize Incentive: The last ESEA season boasted a $200,000+ prize pool, and we fully intend to fight for our share of it.
