Samhall Aktiebolag

Samhall Aktiebolag är ett svenskt statsägt aktiebolag med uppdraget att skapa meningsfulla och utvecklande arbeten för personer med funktionsnedsättning som medför nedsatt arbetsförmåga.

Företaget grundades 1980 och är idag ett av svenska statens största företag, sett till antal anställda i Sverige. Ett av Samhalls mål är att 1 100 av medarbetarna varje år ska gå vidare till en anställning hos en annan arbetsgivare. Under företagets första decennier dominerades verksamheten helt av egen industriproduktion. Idag arbetar de flesta av medarbetarna inom service eller bemanning i andra företag, vilket man anser underlätta övergångarna till andra arbetsgivare.

The company was founded in 1980 and is today one of the Swedish state's largest companies, in terms of the number of employees in Sweden. One of Samhall's goals is that every year, 1 100 of the employees go on to an employment with another employer. During the company's first decades, operations were completely dominated by its own industrial production. Today, most of the employees work in service or staffing in other companies, which is considered to facilitate transfers to other employers.
