We hate expert griefers and teamkillers, why ?

- because they think destroying our games is funny
- because they feel a misplaced greatness about themself as they
play mindgames on unwitty public players, it's an easy fix for them.
- because they use "online", "i'm bored", "this game sucks" and other platitudes as an excuse for bothering strangers with their general mental dissonance
- because some of them have the one-dimensional view that "expert is for noobs", but are usually terrible teamplayers in left 4 dead overall.
- because they jerk off on making someone angry in game, see this as positive rewards for themself but fail to understand that their rampant obsessive tk behavior is indicative of their own underlying frustrations about whatever, and cannot cope with it in a more positive way.

You've met them right ? These "players" that arrive in your game, teamkill everyone, vote restart, and avoid all kicks against them, keep coming back to kill the fun for everyone and don't stop until the game is destroyed ?

In left 4 dead, these griefers usually remain unpunished because a public server is not being actively administrated and their bad behavior is left unchecked or controlled.

We would like to provide several tips to combat this:

* Report their asses! We're not motivating you to report just any person who accidentially shoots you, that is an ACCIDENT. But DO report the guy/girl if they fit the description above.

* In the spirit of VALVe's "power to the player" policy, put them in your block list immediately! Again, make sure you're not just putting anyone who accidentially shoots you. Only teach the malevolent teamkiller a lesson!

* We can use this group to make players aware of the intrusive methods griefers use to kill a normal expert game. They thrive on public random players not know how to handle their backstabbing methods to destroy a game.

* Everyone with a rented (3d party) server that joins this group can have our PRIVATELY available banlist (banned_user.cfg) to permanently keep these people (who you can't call gamers) from disturbing your game.

* If you know a guy who keeps joning only to destroy it, tell it to your friends and tell it to us. We will add them to this list after checking them out. Ofcourse we can't have it that people are being wrongfully accused. This is not a public teamkiller gallow, but rather a campaign group for a specific problematic theme in L4D. That's why we ask to use the "report" feature over anything else.

* Ultimately, when on a public server and you can't do any admin work there: there's a chineese saying : He who knows who to fight and when, will always be victorious. You've got to play teamkillers at their own game, stay a step ahead of them.
