The long awaited patch for Brink has been released. Admins; Run the steam updater and restart. The rest of you, servers should be ready soon.

•Fixed sound dropping out when playing networked games
•Improved graphical performance, especially when using Ambient Occlusion
•Fixed voice packs being reset to default when you delete another character
•Removed ability to use certain cheat protected commands in challenges
•Fixed memory leak/crash when alt-tabbed out

User Interface:
•Full servers are no longer filtered out of the browser
•Added support for entering a range of numbers (i.e. 10-12) in server filters
•Reduced font size in the server browser
•Exiting Head customization returns to the correct menu
•Fixed being unable to bind KP_Enter in the UI
•Increased font size of in-game text chat
•‘Enter’ now closes text chat prompt if empty
•Fixed challenge in menu flashing even after completion

Dedicated Servers:
•Improved dedicated server CPU performance
•Fixed NPC not spawning for escort objectives online on servers using unsupported cvars

It looks like we are due for a major patch early next week. I guess they had enough of people bothing them for updates.

So the DLC came out! I'll probably be playing a bunch this weekend. I'll try to hang out in chat, we should all play together.

I am running the lastest Nvidia beta drivers and my crashes have been much farther apart.

The problem that a lot of people were having is using an nvidia card would result in the game crashing at a random time because I have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea, but it had to do with opengl. It's nothing to do with anything on our end.

Also the patch didn't fix it ♥♥♥♥ you splash damage.

er... if it doesn't run at all, chances are your driver doesn't support the openGL version.

I bet it's better on the consoles? Because it runs? Which it doesn't for certain video cards (Nvidia maybe you heard of them?) that people use? On their computers? I wonder if this game is good? I hear a single SMG is the best gun in the game? And the certain perks are blatantly overpowered? And a certain class is blatantly underpowered? Did Splash Damage even test the game? Does anyone know?
