Who wants to host a tournament, and when?

I've repinned this thread to help clear up some confusion (at least on my end) on who has been asking to host a tournament in near future. I recall RexxOX, Tom, RayZ, and possibly Nurse, but my memory is terrible so I quite possibly have forgotten someone (and sorry if I have). So feel free to share your thoughts so we can try to give chances to all who wish to host a tournament :)

Hi, I'm Garf/Dr. Unkfield (Drunkfield) and I have a terrible memory, sorry >.<. BUT! I recall a number of racers (off the top of my alcohol-addled brain such as Tom, Icy/Dynatron, arsch, and Nightcat) wanting to host a tournament in the future, and I was hoping maybe this thread could help get a timeline of who's hosting a tournament and when.

Part of my motivation is because that, due to all of this interest in hosting and joining tournaments, I was thinking we could maybe start to host them more frequently.

In addition to that, I think it would just be helpful to have a list (written down so I don't forget) of all the people who want to host a tournament so that we can give everyone who wants to a chance to do so.

So, I suppose in semi-conclusion - if you wish to host a tournament in the near future, please post in the comments so we can plan accordingly!

My tournament would be in middle November and I wish to try a mix out of shootin and boost tournament :o Qualification round maybe shootin and finals be boost racing. :o Wish to know the opinion on tat idea? :o btw it's Dynatron here.

I can be a 'standby' host - in case nobody wants to host a tournament at a given time.
Since I already do the videos and aid with organization here and there I prefer to spread the tasks. But, if nobody is available, then I can host.

If I DID get round to hosting one. I'd be fine for late December? I finsh school are around then, and that gives plenty of time for other people to host THEIR tourneys. ?

OK, so so far it seems like potentially: Nightcat in September/October, Dreadence in October, Dynatron in November, and Reckreations in December? And Nurse on standby.
I know Reckreations/Tom has been wanting to do one for a while now, so if you want to push yours up and everyone else is OK with that, that would work too in my opinon.
Also, thanks for the reminder Ace, I had forgotten as I'm known to do xD

I'm cool for whatever. I don't mind if mine is in December. I'd rather other people does theirs before mine. Plus I have summer holidays then, so I'll be able to have a better chance to PARTICIPATE in my own tourney :P

Killua, I think Rekreations mentioned to me that you guys may want to dual-host a tournament? That is totally fine, but also fine if you'd like to host your own, just let us know - I think random character tourney sounds like interesting idea haha :)

Another possible idea, since we seem to have a lot of interest, is to have tournaments more frequently. Namely, it doesn't have to be just 1 per month, but maybe 2 per month? As long as whomever is hosting posts their discussion in time to give people enough opportunity to sign up, I could see us potentially having more frequent tournaments. Let me know your thoughts! :D

I agree with Hunky, I know alot of people are wanting to host a tournament, but 2-3 a month would end up felling kinda like the tournaments aren't that big of a deal. It be like if Christmas was once a month, Christmas would start feeling less special.
We could try and see how it goes, but I'm kinda jumping on sticking with 1 tourney a month.
I know people want to host, but I think we all need to wait our turns to make the tournaments feel like events, and not minor get-to gethers.

Well I guess official tournaments and that jazz happen once a year, soo....
